But in this question they are suggesting to use a 74HC So isnt considering an IC the best solution. What are the differences between and 74HC that you can read out of the datasheet?
However a relay usually consumes datadheet current datasgeet has a back-emf pulse when it is switched OFF. The LED consumes little current so is not an issue. So when I am active high, the led turns on.
I see that I can control a relay from an Arduino.
I datashet you a present. As Humpawumpa says, invert the logic in your code. Wouldn’t it be an option to invert the signal already in your software?
Can i use a instead of 74HC? Iam relatively new to electronics, and I am building a prototype from an Arduino board. A link to the ULN It is like the circuit I drew up but has 8 of them in one package.
