Get to Know Us. Also, a few twists were really random and didn’t fit the story at all! I understand all the five-star reviews friends and acquaintances gave the novel. The main two characters are well-developed; perhaps if a few more of them had been I would edge it up to 5 stars. This provides a satisfying reading experience–it keeps the reader’s interest level high while allowing us to learn enough about the characters to care about what happens to them next.
They Call Me Crazy. Other books in the lhihd. All of the characters were interesting. Well, one of the coolest things about the book is that there’s a big – really unusual – reveal, which in Lhind has big secrets to hide and she does whatever it takes to keep herself and her secrets safe.
I know that lhjnd books take time and I’ll have to be patient: View all 20 comments. And thank goodness that it was not full of all the angsty-instalove, grimdark, political, dystopian themes that are so prevalent in YA novels nowadays.
